SEGA and Relic Entertainment have announced that Company of Heroes 3 Console Edition will be landing in late May, with pre-orders set to go live later this month. Offering the “deepest strategic experience” in the series yet, the console version of Company of Heroes 3 will come with various refinements.
A custom user interface, full controller support, and “special features” that allow you to play the game at your own pace, are among the new Console Edition additions, with ‘Full Tactical Pause’ lending a greater degree of control over pacing and tactics on the battlefield. Using this feature, you can queue up and coordinate actions, going through every move in detail without the pressure of carrying them out in real-time.
With “boots-on-the-ground” storytelling and a new theatre of war featuring four factions, Company of Heroes 3 Console Edition will also include untold stories from World War II, co-op vs AI multiplayer, a sandbox-style turn-based solo campaign set in Italy, and a classic narrative-led experience set in the North African desert, when it releases for Xbox Series X|S and PlayStation 5 on 30th May.
