EA Sports PGA Tour is due to receive a series of "future improvements and fixes", EA has announced, following changes already introduced, including issues with game crashes, compatibility, and claiming tournament awards.

Future updates will add a 3-Click Swing control option to EA Sports PGA Tour, alongside an improved pre-shot zoom camera to offer a lower camera angle for players who want to manually read the green without the putting grid assist.

Additionally, the development team is “exploring ways” to provide more choice in Career Mode, with the possibility of adding the ability to play Full Rounds outside of Quick Play, while tweaks to the Putting Grid, Cup Physics, and Online Matchmaking are also on the cards.

A ‘Fast Play’ presentation option is on the way, too, getting you into a game quicker without all of the flashy cinematics and such; and further Online Game Formats are also planned. You can check out EA's full plans for its latest golf game in a new blog post here.

EA Sports PGA Tour is available for Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 5, and PC - for our verdict on the game, give our review a look.

  • Hopefully they adjust their math for predicting scores during quick rounds. I was trying to get a taste of as much as possible during the trial so I played "quick rounds" which has you play only a few holes per round. I finished one round with five straight birdies. The next round, they "predicted" I would make four bogeys and a double bogey before I even started. Not that I would necessarily use quick rounds in the full release, but that system is terrible.
